The second One Piece WORLD TOP 100 poll has finished, and the world has once again made the brave, disruptive choice of voting the main character into first place. Monkey D. Luffy won with 2,378,519 points, keeping the global crown he took in the original 2021 poll. Roronoa Zoro finished second with 2,148,793, while Sanji held third with 1,399,204. Somewhere, an agenda account has already turned that gap into a 47-post thread.

The poll ran from March 4 through June 11 and allowed fans to choose from 1,567 characters. The final totals combined voting through the official website, the ONE PIECE BASE app, physical WT100 voting spots and postcards, with fraudulent votes checked before publication. The results were revealed during One Piece Day '26 on August 22 and 23.

The worldwide top ten

The final order was Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Trafalgar Law, Nico Robin, Portgas D. Ace, Shanks, Dracule Mihawk and Crocodile. That gives the Straw Hats five places in the top ten if we count the captain, but it also leaves Chopper, Usopp, Franky, Brook and Jinbe outside it. Chopper landed at 13, Usopp at 19, Brook at 27, Franky at 29 and Jinbe at 30. The crew may be sailing together, but the ballot box remains a merciless place.

The top four stayed exactly where they were at the midterm stage: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Nami. Law also kept fifth. The late movement happened further down. Mihawk rose into ninth and Crocodile took tenth, pushing midterm top-ten characters Uta and Chopper down to 15th and 13th. Apparently Cross Guild did not need to find the One Piece; it only needed enough people to remember how cool coats and swords look.

The final saga is already changing the list

The results are also a snapshot of what the story is feeding fans right now. Loki reached 20th despite being a much newer presence than most characters around him. Rocks D. Xebec finished 17th, above several long-established fan favorites, while Saint Manmayer Gunko reached 61st. Recent manga attention clearly matters, although it does not erase two decades of attachment overnight. Ace is still seventh, Corazon is 11th and the Going Merry somehow finished 45th, above Roger, Joyboy, Blackbeard and Imu. A wooden ship with emotional damage remains one of the strongest forces in this franchise.

Regional lists make the result even stranger. Nami ranked first in Oceania, Europe and the Middle East. Zoro led Central and South America as well as Africa, while Luffy took Japan, Asia and North America. The worldwide table is therefore less of a universal truth and more of a very large compromise between different corners of the fandom. It tells us who mobilized, who had current story momentum and who has fans willing to return every day during a three-month poll.

Does any of this matter?

Not to the ending clock, unfortunately. Oda is not rewriting the final saga because Crocodile placed tenth, and the result does not establish an official power ranking unless Nami can now defeat Blackbeard with 1.3 million points of electoral Haki. What it does provide is a rare worldwide measurement of the fandom at this exact stage of the story—and a clean excuse for everybody to argue until the third poll arrives.

The poll was part of the same One Piece Day weekend that delivered the God Valley and BaaD movie announcements. Those reveals concern where the franchise is going next; this ranking shows who people want to take with them. Luffy still sits at the top, but the interesting part is everything happening underneath him.
